What does Lefkas have to offer?
The unspoilt and truly exquisite island of Lefkas is brimming with traditional Greek charm and appeal. Huge white rocks form an intense landscape which is softened by an array of lush green valleys, clear blue waters and stunning long sandy beaches. The low-lying east coast is home to an abundance of facilities and picturesque views, while the rugged cliffs, rocky coves and beautifully exposed shorelines of the west are a magnet for the more adventurous. A variety of beautiful beaches line the Lefkas coastline - some sand and others fine pebble. The east coast is sheltered and pretty with pine and olive trees to the waters edge. While the west– rugged and open – promises azure sea and fabulous stretches of sand, many only reachable by boat. Whether you’re looking for a milelong main beach, a smaller family friendly bay or a romantic secluded cove, the Lefkas shoreline has something for everyone. Waterfront tavernas and beachside cafés are also found in most main resorts.
